Jeff Dickerson

Jeff Dickerson is responsible for a corporate team that
buys millions of dollars of commercial print and media replication a year. His
group handles more than 2,500 unique warehoused items annually as well as
hundreds of direct shipped items, and oversees the print and media production
of a wide variety of materials including sales and marketing collateral, DVDs,
variable print, kits and mailings, and more.
A consultant to State Farm's internal creative group for print and
paper specifications, Jeff led the development effort for, and is the
gatekeeper of, quality standards for the company's collateral materials. His
team supports printing for several internal departments including agency sales
and training, claims communications, human resources, training, bank, mutual
funds, marketing and systems.
Building on 12 years of experience as State Farm's print buyer and
10 years of work in print production, management and sales, Jeff is a Certified
Purchasing Manager and has earned the Chartered Financial Consultant

Christine Erna is the acknowledged "Queen of Direct
Mail," with more than 25 years of experience in direct mail design, analysis,

Mailing and Fulfillment Services at Concord Litho, a firm that specializes in
high-volume personalized direct mail for commercial and nonprofit
organizations.

Matt McDowell has held a variety of positions within the
graphic arts and printing industries. During his 16 years with AGFA, he rose
from Graphic Arts Dealer Specialist to his last position as No. American
Director of National Accounts.
After moving to Nextpress LLC, Matt developed a national and
strategic account segment which sold and serviced the digital color needs of
the largest digital printers in No. America. He joined Windsor Marketing Group
as VP/GM where he was responsible for growing sales and implementing leading
edge technologies. He currently leads and manages all graphics and direct sales
teams at Pantone.
Matt's broad industry experience has covered many areas of graphics
arts and printing including color printing, prepress, digital printing, retail

Jill Alex Connolly

Jill Alex Connolly has worked in the graphics industry for more than
20 years, nearly all of them in a print buying capacity. Her first job out of
college was with Harvard University and it led to many jobs (and layoffs) at
advertising agencies. Her previous and current jobs are on the client side in
large corporations.
Jill left BayBank/BankBoston (now Bank of America) 10 years ago to
work at Analog Devices, Inc., headquartered outside of Boston. As manager of
Corporate Communications Services, 70% of her 27-person staff is dedicated to
the production of data sheets - 4- to 164-page, b&w technical documentation
printed and distributed via print on demand at three worldwide locations. The
other 30% of her crew, the Marketing Collateral Team, act as brand stewards
while designing collateral materials for the company. Much of what is produced
now gets posted to the Web; Jill's group purchases less than $1 million in
print annually. Jill is a member of the Boston Print Buyers Board of
Advisers.
Arlene Ouellette

Arlene began working for Brookstone, a New
Hampshire-based product development and specialty retail company, in 1994 and
she has been the director of Marketing Operations since 2001. Among other
responsibilities, she oversees the planning, production and execution of all
marketing campaigns nationwide. Arlene has held a number of other positions
including Director of E-Commerce Operations, Print Purchasing Manager and
Project Manager. Brookstone operates over 320 retail stores nationwide,
distributes catalogs under the Brookstone title, and operates an e-commerce

Prior to joining Brookstone, Arlene held various
positions at Nashua Corporation, an international firm that operated direct
marketing, retail and business-to-business for a variety of products and
services. Her positions with Nashua included Print Production Manager,
Advertising Account Executive, and Retail Advertising Manager. She is a member

Jack Miller

Jack Miller, known as The Paper Guru, is a veteran of
more than 30 years pushing paper.
Founder of the market intelligence consultancy, Market-Intell, he
has conducted market research and consulted on paper, print and packaging,
including paper price trends, paper purchase decision drivers, markets for
coated papers, and sustainability in paper, print and packaging.
From September 2005 through April 2009, Jack was senior consultant
North America for Pira International, a leading provider of consulting and
information services to the paper, print and packaging industries and their
supply chains. He continues to work with Pira on an ad hoc basis.
Jack formerly served as director of Market Intelligence with Domtar,
a $6 billion paper company with manufacturing and distribution in the US and
Canada. A prolific writer, he has written under the Paper Guru banner for
Printing Impressions and Canadian Printer, and blogs regularly
for Printing Impressions. He also is the author of Trend Price and
the Earnings of North American Paper Producers, and co-author of two major
studies for PRIMIE.

Helmut Albrecht is an experienced sales and marketing
executive and change agent with extensive business development capabilities.
Much of his expertise was acquired through a lengthy career in Europe and North
America. Executive roles with global technology leaders such as Xerox, Eastman
Kodak and Heidelberger Druckmaschinen have provided him with a full
understanding of the international business culture. In his former position as
National Sales Manager for Digital Solutions for Kodak Canada, he led the
integration of the digital print business, creating a sales funnel greater than
$100 million (Canadian) and reducing order-to-delivery time by 60% within 12

Frank Romano. The foremost printing and publishing industry expert with a
career that spans 50 years, he is perhaps best known as the editor of the
International Paper Pocket Pal or from the hundreds of articles he has
written for publications in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and
Australia.
Founder of eight publications and author of over 45 books, including
the 10,000-term Encyclopedia of Graphic Communications (with Richard
Romano), the standard reference in the field, Frank is a world-renowned
authority on digital printing. He has served as publisher or editor for
TypeWorld/Electronic Publishing, Computer Artist, Color Publishing, The
Typographer, EP&P, and both the NCPA and PrintRIT Journals, and
his books on QuarkXPress, Adobe InDesign, and PDF workflow were among the first
in their fields.
Frank lectures extensively and he has addressed virtually every
club, association, group, and professional organization at one time or another.
His mastery of the subject and personal charm and warmth, have made him one of
the industry's most popular keynote speakers.
He has consulted for major corporations, publishers, government, and
other users of digital printing and publishing technology. He wrote the first
report on on-demand digital printing in 1980 and ran the first conference on
the subject in 1985.
He has been quoted in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal,
Times of London, USA Today, Business Week, Forbes, and many other
newspapers and publications, as well as on TV and radio. He has partnered with
InfoTrends on strategic information for the printing industry. He continues to
teach courses at RIT and other universities and works with students on unique

A 15-year veteran of the graphic communications industry in the U.S.
and the United Kingdom (U.K), Gavin most recently was a director and corporate
officer at Toppan Printing Company America, a wholly owned subsidiary of Toppan
Printing Co. Ltd., the largest commercial printing company in the world. At
Toppan America, he oversaw several vital business functions including
marketing, operations, strategic and business development, information
technology, and digital communications. He helped to transition the
100-year-old traditional offset printing company into a leading provider of
digital communications services. This evolution drove the creation of several
key applications, including full-color variable information direct mail pieces,

Dr. Joe Webb is one of the graphic arts industry's best-known
consultants, forecasters, and commentators. A 30-year veteran of the graphic
arts industries, he was the founder of the influential TrendWatch information
service, which was sold to Reed Elsevier in 2000. Since January 2003, his
"Mondays with Dr. Joe" column has become a must-read feature on
WhatTheyThink.com, as have his quarterly economic forecast webinars, where he
analyzes trends in the economy, technology, and the industry, interpreting what
they mean for executives and their strategic decisions.
He is a Ph.D. graduate of the NYU Center for Graphic Communications

Rebecca is a direct marketing and print professional
with 20 years of experience on both the client and agency side. Her first
post-college job, with Yankee Publishing, was a crash course in budgeting,
scheduling and trafficking for this communications major. On this solid
foundation, Rebecca built a career notable for building relationships, cutting
costs and hitting schedules - even when jobs are 'slipped" onto the schedule at
the very last minute. These skills (and a dauntless sense of humor) have served
Rebecca well in her current position as Senior Print Production Manager for
